Who we are:  A two-women owned/operated small business located in Minneapolis that makes women’s and children’s clothing and accessories out of organic cotton, recycled material and other sustainable fibers.  We sell our clothing at the Mill City Farmers Market, online and at the Linden Hills Home Store.

We are looking for someone who wants to work:
20 hrs./wk. starting now and up to 40 hrs./wk. from April 2011 through farmers market season (May-Oct. 2011) and likely into the fall.  Flexibility in hours a must (may be less than 20 hrs. week during Jan. & Feb. 2011).  Minimal experience using a sewing machine needed though not in a professional capacity.

What you would be doing
Working in our home studios (located in Linden Hills and SE Mpls) dying fabric, cutting from patterns, sewing with serger and sewing machine, using your creative sense working with color/pattern/texture.

May – October 2011
Working our booth at the Mill City Farmers Market on Saturdays throughout the summer.  We are looking for someone to bring the stock, set-up and take down, organize/display stock, take money, communicate well with customers.  Large vehicle (van/truck) a plus but not necessary.

Pay
20 hours training at $7/hour followed by a review & raise.  Farmers Market pay $9/hr. (x10 hours each Saturday).
50% discount on clothing.
